Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Devpon ("we", "us") about the Moojiw app and the moojiw.com website. By using Moojiw you accept them. If you do not, please do not use Moojiw.

Moojiw is not medical advice

Moojiw is a food diary. It is not a diet tool, a medical device, or a source of medical, nutritional or clinical advice. Nothing in it should be used to diagnose or treat anything. Talk to a qualified professional about your health.

If logging food ever feels stressful, that is a real thing and you are not alone. The app lists support resources under Food and feelings in Settings.

AI estimates are estimates

Moochi's guesses at the dish, the calories, the macros and the price are produced by an AI model from a photo. They are approximations and they will sometimes be wrong. You can edit any of them. Do not rely on them where accuracy matters, for example if you are managing a medical condition or an allergy.

Your account

You can use Moojiw without an account. Signing in with Apple or LINE lets you sync, share buckets and add friends. Keep your sign-in secure; you are responsible for what happens under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use Moojiw.

Your content

Your photos, entries and notes are yours. We do not claim ownership. You give us only the permission we need to run the service for you: to store your entries, to send a photo you submit to our AI provider for an estimate, and to show what you deliberately share into a bucket to the friends in that bucket. Anything you drop into a shared bucket is visible to the people in it.

Moojiw Pro

Moojiw is free to use. Moojiw Pro is an optional subscription, offered as a yearly or monthly subscription or as a one-time lifetime purchase, at the price shown in the app for your region.

• Purchases are made through the App Store. Apple bills you, and Apple's terms apply to the transaction.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. Apple charges the renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.
• Cancel in your Apple ID settings, not in Moojiw: Settings → your name → Subscriptions on iPhone, or apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Pro until the period you paid for ends.
• Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
• If a free trial is offered, cancelling before it ends avoids the charge. An unused part of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
• We may change what Pro includes or what it costs. A price change affecting an existing subscription takes effect only after Apple asks you to agree to it.

Fair use of the AI

AI guesses cost us money per request, so the number available in a day is limited, and the limit is higher on Pro. We may adjust these limits, and we may slow or pause guessing to keep the service running. Everything else in Moojiw keeps working when guessing is paused: you can always type a meal in yourself.

What you agree not to do

• Break the law with Moojiw, or use it to harass anyone.
• Upload content you have no right to upload, or content that is illegal.
• Attack, overload, scrape or reverse engineer the service, or work around its limits.
• Resell Moojiw or pass it off as your own.

We may suspend or close an account that does these things.

Ending it

You can stop using Moojiw at any time, and you can delete your account in the app under Account. Deleting is permanent: it erases your account, your friends and the meals you shared into buckets. Your solo diary lives on your phone and is removed when you delete the app. We may end or suspend the service, with notice where we reasonably can.

Availability and liability

Moojiw is provided "as is". We do not promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its estimates will be accurate. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including your rights as a consumer under Thai law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top, and for a material change we will tell you in the app. Continuing to use Moojiw after that means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Thailand, and the courts of Thailand have jurisdiction, without taking away any protection the law of your own country gives you as a consumer.
